Time for a Change | New Nails #6

Hey lovelies!

Today I have a new blog post for you all, as you already know from the title it's a 'Time for a Change | New Nails' post. I feel like I just put one of these up but I feel like you guys love seeing my different nails so I thought I had to share it with you all either way.
So let's get straight into it....

I got my nails done at the beginning of this week because I could not even deal with how bad my last nails looked if you didn't catch them then check out my previous nail post here.
I felt that those nails got so chipped and dirty so quickly so I defo had to get them fixed and to my standards again.

Walking into my nail shop I had no idea what I was going to do to my nails I didn't want to change the shape yet because I only had it pointy once with one colour so I thought I had to do another colour.

I stick to nude colours a lot, I don't really like bright colours or designs I much prefer basic plain coloured nails so I was so drawn to this nude colour I currently have one. When I first did it I didn't really like it because it looked like a colour I had done before and I absolutely hate doing the same colour more than once but once it dried more it started to turn a bit more of a redish, pinky brown nudey colour (I'm so bad a describing this colour.. lol) and I started to love it more and more.

So these are my new nails, let me know what you think about this colour? do you like it or nah?

Time for a Change | New Nails #5

Hey everyone,

My blogging schedule has been a bit all over the place recently, if you're a big reader of my blog you may have noticed that I'm trying to stick to a schedule where I blog every Thursday and Monday so I'm really going to try and stick to that so you guys know when new content will be up.

Today I'm doing a 'Time for a change | New nails' post. I haven't done one of these in so long but I thought I would come back with one and show you guys my new nails for the start of college.

I started college on Thursday so I went with my sister to get my nails done on a Wednesday, as you may know I usually wear acrylics then just get refills so because my nails were really grown out and long I decided I would change my shape from square to pointy.
I'm not much of  a big fan of pointy nails but I didn't want to waste them being that long so I decided on going pointy.

I didn't really have an idea as to what colour I wanted to paint my nails but I was kind of leaning towards just all white nails. My sister had airbrushed white nails before so she was kind of like why don't you airbrush it all white, especially cause it will last longer so I thought yeah I'll do that.
As they airbrushed it I decided that I didn't want it all white before she got all the way to the top and decided that I wanted it faded, mainly because I have never had my nails like this and quite liked it when my sister had it before.

So these are my new nails tell me what you think and whether you think that airbrushed nails last longer than just normal painted nails?
I hope you enjoyed this post and liked having them back on my blog

Beginning of the Year Wishlist

Hey loveliess!

Today I have a beginning of the year wishlist, thinking about it there has been quite a few things that I have seen and been like "oh I like that, I want it" so today I'm going to share those items with you.

Firstly, I have a pair of trainers, I've been looking for a pair that I haven't really seen a lot of people wearing. I am in some serious need of some new trainers just cause I feel that the trainers I have now are getting a bit boring and I just need something new in my wardrobe.

Next on my list is the Rimmel Lip lacquer in the shade 230 kiss fatal, I love this colour it is kind of like a brownish, purpley colour I think it's a perfect winter shade and can easily be worn coming into spring.

Thirdly, I've been on the hunt for a really cute sweater ad because I'm such a sweater person my expectations are pretty high. I think the whole colour block and colour contrast look is so cute and I'm soo loving it that is why I need this sweater.

The fourth item on my wishlist was a hooded crop sweater, after I saw the white one with 'flawless' on it I loved the look of it but I really wanted a plain one and a dark colour just so it doesn't get dirty so easy so once I found this one in Newlook I was all for it. Also, I don't actually own a lot of crop tops I only have one that I never wear cause I don't really like it any more so that's why when I found this one I was even more all for it.

Next on my list is the hooded duffle coat, I'm in need of a new duffel coat because I just love the way they look and the way they fit. my other duffel coat is getting a bit small for me now and it just isn't as long any more and I can't wear it with lots of layers underneath, so I think it is about time that I got a new one.

sixth on my wishlist is the bag, I really need a new bag just so that I can have the choice of swapping and changing my bags also all my bags are all black so I really need a change of colour sometimes.
Also I hate that with the bag that I take to college it is quite small so I cant fit a lot inside so I am all for this bag just because it is bigger and has much more compartments.

Lastly I have the quilted backpack, I really want a backpack just for them days that it's really cold and I don't want to have to hold anything in my hand I can literally put the backpack on my back and keep my hands warm in my pocket. Also, I am loving the backpack look so having one is a must.

So this is my wishlist for the beginning of the year 2015, I hope you enjoyed it

Time for a change | New nails #3

Hey girlies,
today I'm going to show you my new nails, that's part of my 'Time for a change' posts
On Saturday, me and my sister took a trip down to my nail shop to get a refill, after my Christmas nails I have been longing my ass off to change my nails mainly because I didn't really like them to begin with and they were quite boring.

As the time got closer and closer I was all over instagram and pinterest trying to find me some nail inspiration, I screenshot so many nail pictures on my phone that I liked, if you want to check out my nails board on pinterest just click here.

So I found these nails and honestly just loved them right away, at the nail shop I decided to keep the shape and length, however I wasn't to impressed with the way she changed the shape a bit and cut them down, although she didn't make them too short so they are still a decent length.

No surprise I got to the nail shop and couldn't find the exact colour or anything close to it so I opted for this light purple colour I also decided to do a matte because I had seen a lot of matte nails on instagram and pinterest and really loved them.

when the woman painted my nails she did 2 coats of the purple then a top coat and then applied the matte top coat to it, this really toned down the colour of the purple and made it look a lot more dull.

I really love my new nails, however I wasn't too impressed with the way she filed them and how much she cut them down also the nail is not smooth on top and you can see it through the nail polish
But still love 'em though!

My Eyebrow Routine

Hey girlies,

Today I have for you my eyebrow routine, every time I go out I'm always stopped in the street and questioned about how I do my eyebrows.
So I have decided to put together a post on how I do them.
Let's begin...!

1. Firstly I start of by outlining my eyebrows with my MUA Eyebrow pencil in Brunette, I make sure that the line follows the shape of my natural brow and avoid lining the front and beginning of my brow.

2. Next I use my eyebrow pencil and fill in all the bald spots of my eyebrows by drawing short little lines instead of long stokes this makes it look a little more natural than as if I have no eyebrows and have created a whole new eyebrow.

3. After drawing the outline and filling in my bald spot I grab my concealer palette and my angled eyebrow brush and shape and clean up around my eyebrow, this gives my eyebrows that highlighted glowing look without it looking too much.

4. As you can see my brows are looking a little cray cray right now so I'm going to use my angled eyebrow brush and blend out the concealer, I pull the concealer down with the brush so that there isn't any harsh concealer lines and it is easier to blend out.
I then get a bit more concealer on my angled brush and apply it all over my eyelid this not only conceals but adds a base so that applying my eyeshadow is much easier and more smooth.
Using one of my old dried out mascaras I use the brush and brush out the beginning of my eyebrows this gives it that more faded look and doesn't make it look so harsh and square at the beginning.

5. And were all done!

So this is how I do my eyebrows, I know it's such a long process but I think the more you do it the quicker you get and it doesn't seem as long any more. I know my eyebrows still look pretty highlighted and uncompleted but once I put on my foundation I'll just use it and blend the concealer around it.

I hope this little tutorial helped and gave you a bit of a guide as to how to do your eyebrows and

Time for a change | New nails #2

Hey loves!

So I was suppose to publish this post ages ago but I've just been putting it off, but I have finally gotten around to doing it. so here we go...

Around 2 weeks ago I went and got a re-fill, some of you may know that I love getting my nails done and I get a re-fill like every 2-3 weeks.

Getting my nails done this time around I was looking to go for something really simple and without any type of design. Initially I wanted to go for a pastel lilac kind of colour and then I saw this colour that I thought was more of a grey-ish lilac colour.
I was so stuck and didn't know which colour to go for so I asked my sister who I always go nail shop with and she was like go for the grey-ish lilac colour.

So I decided to go with the grey-ish lilac. once she finished painting my nails I looked at them and I loved them however, the colour was just grey the hint of lilac I was seeing had now vanished but I didn't really mind it.

I really love this colour and I definitely feel that it gives that Autumn/Winter kind of feel, also the feeling of a fresh set of new nails feel so good!

I hope you liked this post, don't forget to leave a comment and tell me what you think about this colour and what colour I should do next.

New Skincare Routine

Hiya guys!

Recently I purchased some skincare products and starting a skincare routine was something new to me believe it or not after wearing makeup for soo long I'm only now starting a skincare routine. So let's get started!

I do my skincare routine lots of different ways depending on what my face is looking like and what I've been doing during the day.

So if I've come back from college or something and I've been wearing makeup all day I usually do my full skincare routine before I got to bed.

Firstly, I use regular baby wipes and wipe my makeup off my face I usually use 2 wipes 1 to remove my foundation and eyebrows then the 2nd one to remove my eye makeup like my eye shadow, eye liner and mascara. I know some of you may be thinking why'd you use baby wipes? it's not good for your skin blah blah blah.... but honestly I've been doing it for so long and my face has hardly dropped off, it's not the end of the world I'll be fine.

Next I use my Nivea Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Scrub. I simply wet my face with warm water then use about a pea size amount on the different areas of my face for example, my forehead, my chin, my cheeks and my nose, I rub that in focusing mainly on my nose area and went over my lips a few times just to get rid of any crusties :)

After that I wash off my face with warm water then get a flannel and wet it with hot water after that I just go over my face a few times with the wet flannel this is just to get off any excess soap.

Once I've removed my makeup and ex foliated my face I then use my Garnier Cleansing Micellar Water and a makeup remover pad and just go over my face I only do this once because my face is generally clean by then.

After all that I finally use my Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser and moisturised all over my face, with this product you only need a little bit because believe me when I say a little goes a long way.

If I don't go out anywhere and don't wear any makeup I just use my Garnier Cleansing Micellar Lotion just to get rid of any dirt on my face, then apply my Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser.

This is my new created skincare routine I hope you guys enjoyed and

Time for a Change | New nails #1

Hey girlie's!

I've got a new change for you guys. Recently I went and got myself a re-fill cause my nails were in some serious need of doing.

So I went and got my nails done with my sister, it cost me £15 to get a re-fill and because my previous nail cracked they don't charge you for a whole new nail like I know some places do.

When doing my nails I always try and do colours that I won't get bored with, this means that it takes a lot of time and energy before I decide what I want my nails to look like.
For my base colour I decided on a mint green colour and for my designs I decided on leopard print and a large triangle.

This time I tried my best to cut them down as much as possible so it doesn't grow out as quick.

To do the leopard print on my middle finger and pointing finger; firstly, she did the white spots in different places and did it quite messy and not in a sort of strategic order kind of thing then she used a thin black brush and outlined it and made a few dots in the spaces.

Then to achieve the triangle look on my ring finger and pinky she simply used the thin black brush and created a triangular shape down to the tip of my nail then used the same brush and coloured in the two sides.

So this is how I decided to do my nails this time around and look out for my next 'Time for a change post' on my nails that should be up in like a months time.
